The rain is here and appears it will rain till sometime around 1:00. We will be open but if you come to shop please bring your umbrella and rain boots. This looks like a fairly substantial rain and we are hoping for it to be substantial. It is really dry here and we definitely need the rain.
We will be closing early tonight at 6:00 pm. Have some flowers we need to plant in Grand Island. Open tomorrow at 9:00 am.
Cloudy and cool today. We will be open all day. We do have a garden club from Holdrege coming at 6:00 pm so we will pull the gates shut at 6:30 today.
Thank you for your support.
Happy Mothers Day to all you moms. I'm giving my wife flowers for Mothers Day! Rain is in the forecast for today. We do plan to be open BUT this may change if the rain is of high intensity. If it mists and sprinkles we will be open. If we decide to close we will update here immediately. Virtually every rain they have forecast for us has gone north of us so I just won't guarantee we will see rain today. The live feed is still up on our Nest parking lot camera so you can see current weather conditions.
That link can be found at the top of our web page: bump up pot
We have added a link at the top of our home page that will allow you to view our parking lot camera so you can see current conditions in Shelton. Sounds like rain off and on in Shelton today. Bring your boots, your slicker and your umbrella
We are open 9 am to 7 pm today. The weather for late day looks like we could get some severe weather so we may close early if it gets nasty. Tomorrow looks like rain for a large part of the day. Check back here for updates.
It has rained a fair amount in Shelton. It appears about 2:00 the rain will stop for a couple of hours. We will remain open today despite the rain. Looks like more rain over night tonight. At least we are getting rain that we haven't seen in 16 months or more. Plan as of 12:21 is to remain open today till 7.
So I see the forecast is for rain. Don't believe it, won't believe it till I see it. It hasn't rained her for 16 months, maybe longer.
We are open today. If it starts pouring rain at an intensity that will affect your ability to shop I will update this blog. You can still shop in the rain. Bring your boots and an umbrella. We are open air, it rains through our canopy.
Selection is fantastic. Mother's Day is Sunday.
We will be open with regular hours for this Friday and the entire weekend. The rain chances seem to be diminishing by the minute. We need rain, we need rain, we need rain. The perfect scenario is for rain all night and sunshine during the day. We are hopeful the pattern will change and we'll see some rain.
Another cold morning. We will be able to open as scheduled today. Regular hours from 9 am to 7 pm on Tuesday May 2nd. Forty degrees under the highway canopy, 31.5 degrees at our grow site across the tracks to the south. Some frost on the roof of vehicles. I'm tired of the cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thirty three degrees overnight tonight so all product is covered. Warms up fairly quickly in the morning and the plan is to be open at 9:00 am. Again, Monday, May 1st will be regular hours from 9am to 7pm.
Weather channel forecasting a low of 37 degrees for Saturday night should allow us to open on schedule on Sunday morning April 30th. We will run regular hours on Sundy April 30th from 9am to 7 pm.
Feel free to call Kelli at 308-390-0158 if you have any questions.
We will open as scheduled today. Open at 9, close at 7. More product being moved out today at the Shelton location. Call with questions. Kelli 308-390-0158 Clark 308-390-0159
Open Air Nursery is scheduled to open tomorrow at the regular time of 9:00 am on April 29,2023.
As of 6:45 this morning the decision is to open on time and remain open for the day. Temps are not too horrible but the wind is blowing from the north and forecast is for this to continue throughout the day. We do have very good wind protection so for the most part it doesn't bother the shopper or the flowers.
Again, the plan as of right now is to open at 9 and remain open for the day.
We will update here if these plans change.
Thank you
Clark
