Yes we are open.  Cold, somewhat windy, the drizzle has stopped, I put my long johns back on this morning and it's a wonderful day.  Can't think of any place I'd rather be.

Sorry folks but today I put my long johns back on.  Misty here in Shelton but we want and need the moisture.

We are open all day from 9am to 7pm.  Still plenty of baskets and bump up pots available.  We have plenty of vegetables.  Cucs, melons, squash are here for when the garden dries enough to plant.

 To eliminate any rumors you may hear, yes we have had hail in Shelton. 

However we have absolutely no plant damage. Today we are open as normal, 9am to 7pm.

Kelli, Breanna, and I closed early last evening in preparation for a possible storm.  We moved product to safe locations and double covered product inside the facility.  We did have 2 inches of rain which was welcome and very needed.  The rain was hard so you will see flowers showing the effects of rain as it comes through our shade fabric that is rolled over the roof.  If you come to shop today please don't say the F word or the H word.  Talking freeze and hail will get you kicked out of the place.  Only joking!  This isn't our first rodeo.  After 35 years in business, we've pretty much seen and survived it all.  We do worry about the one we can't and won't survive.  It's constantly on our minds and yes I'd rather be sitting beside a trout stream in the mountains watching the water flow by but not today.  Open as usual!

We probably have the largest and best selection of bump up pots we've ever had after Mother's Day weekend.  The color is still spectacular.  We have lots of beautiful baskets and plenty of vegetables to get us through the weekend.  Open 7 days a week from 9 am to 7 pm.

 Light showers in Shelton at the moment.  Looks like maybe till 2:30 or 3:00.  We are open till 7:00 pm.

Also open tomorrow from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

 Open Air Nursery in Shelton will be open on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm AND Sunday, May 10, 2026, FOR MOTHER'S DAY, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. Come see us for all your Mother's Day needs.

Due to the fact that we have moved a lot of product to the retail site and it will take us several hours to put it all back we will open at 11:00 am on Thursday May 7.

We will open on Thursday May 7 at 11:00 am.

We have product sitting everywhere, some extension cords, and many trip hazards.  We will not open the gates until our retail site is safe for everyone's shopping experience.

We have had no moisture in Shelton that I can tell.  Weather channel shows a 15% chance of light showers between noon and 6 pm.  

 WE WILL BE OPEN ALL DAY TODAY.  IF CONDITIONS CHANGE, WE WILL POST HERE WITH AN UPDATE.

Forecast for 32 degrees at 6 and 7 am.  37 degrees at 8.  We would really like to be open this morning on schedule at 9:00 but we will play it safe and open at 9:30.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Our temperature alarm system went off at 5:35 with a temperature of 35 degrees.  One could expect a degree or two drop in temps in the next couple hours.  

WE WILL OPEN LATE TODAY.  WE SHOULD BE READY TO GO AT 10:00 AM.  WITH TONIGHTS EVEN COLDER TEMPS WE WILL CLOSE EARLY.  DON'T KNOW WHAT TIME YET FOR SURE.  AT 6 PM TONIGHT IF ITS SUNNY WE WILL REMAIN OPEN IF IT'S CLOUDY WE WILL CLOSE BY 6 OR 6:30.  CHECK BACK HERE AND WE WILL UPDATE.
